Lunar New Year 09 Celebration

Project Open Hand hosted a Chinese New Year celebration to celebrate the “Lunar New Year 09” for our Breast Cancer clients in the San Francisco Grocery Center. Everyone was in good spirits, happy to share in the festivities and of course lots of traditional goodies. The spread of food included spinach,shrimp and veggie rolls, watermelon seeds, fruits and pastries. The celebration at the grocery center is a very popular event among clients and staff. After everyone enjoyed the spread of dishes, the Breast Cancer clients received fresh groceries for the week.
