This peach applesauce is so sweet and delicious, you won't miss the sugar. Swap peaches out for your favorite stone fruits— apricots, plums, pluots— for endless variations.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 2 peaches
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • water

Directions

  1. Wash the produce. Peel apples and peaches, then roughly chop into 1/4 inch cubes.
  2. On the stovetop, bring a pot with a 1/4 cup water to medium-high heat.
  3. Add apples and peaches to the pot.
  4. Cook for about 15 minutes until fruit begins to soften.
  5. Add cinnamon and cook a minute or two longer.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Using a blender (immersion or normal), blend until smooth. Alternatively, use a potato masher or the back of a fork for a chunkier sauce.
  7. Place in the fridge until cool. Enjoy!

Try serving with granola trail mix or granola cereal for some crunch.
